Annette Geraldine Richard, 80, of Cumberland RI passed away peacefully on March 31,2022 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI
Annette was born in Central Falls, RI to Arthur and Germaine (Boudreau) Patenaude on August 16, 1941. She went to Notre Dame High School and graduated in 1958. She worked initially as a receptionist then ended her career as an executive secretary at Digital Equipment Corporation in East Providence, RI. Later she ran her husband’s office at JLR Associates in Pawtucket, RI.
She enjoyed oil painting, painting landscapes was what brought her peace. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Lionel, to Alaska, Hawaii, St. Maarten, Aruba, and Florida. She mostly loved being home with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends to just sit, talk, play cards, and laugh.
Annette is survived by her children, John Richard, wife Paola, daughter, Kim Bolano, husband Silver, daughter Lisa Seiber, husband Chris, and daughter Melissa Reno, husband Rob. Her grandchildren, Jonathan Bolano, Sarah Bolano, Dianna Richard, Jessica Blankenship, Jena Seiber, Rachel Reardon, Reagan Reardon, Reilly Reardon, and her great grandchildren, Nathan Richard, Jacob Richard, Ryan Blankenship, Hailey Blankenship, Emily Blankenship, Sivel Bolano, Azariah Bolano, Orion Bolano, Xavier Montalvan, Jackson Montalvan, and Ilaix Montalvan.
In addition, she is survived by her sister, Pauline Girard and brother, Robert Patenaude both residing in Cumberland, RI. She is predeceased by her husband, Lionel Richard, brother, Arthur Patenaude and sister, Claire Corrigan.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Teresa’s Church, 354 Newport Ave., Pawtucket RI at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 6th. Burial will be private. Memorial Donations may be made to: HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence RI.
